Hi Everyone,

I'm having some financial troubles...rent and bills and the like. So I'm trying to sell of a bunch of the plushies that I've done up.

-Fluttershy is SOLD.

-Derpy is up! I'm hoping for $240 She didn't sell the first time...so I've dropped her price to $230, including shipping to Canada and USA.
She's on eBay, but if someone if interested they can contact me on here instead.

And I'm sorry to ask but...even if you're not interested I'd really appreciate if you could help spread the news.

Thanks,
Lykaios

Hey Everyone...

2 min read
I've been gone a very very long time...

I was sick, I was tired, someone important to me almost took themselves out of this world, I almost did too.

I haven't really made anything pony related for a year. After all the stress of prepping all the merchandise and transporting it all across the ocean, GalaCon was a letdown for me, and I just haven't had the motivation since. At some point, making plushies felt like less of a hobby and more of a job. I has so many messages building up and complaints about pricing and demands for cheaper stuff that it sort of just chased me away from dA.

I've been doing a bit of cosplay work for myself. I made a boy and a girl Inkling cosplay for a friend and myself a couple weeks ago. I'm working on a pair of League of Legends outfits for a con coming up in a little under 2 weeks.

I'm just trying to figure out if I should keep going with the stuff I used to do? Would you still be interested in seeing pony work from me? Or even some of my cosplay work?

London and GalaCon were fun for me, but GalaCon was a bit of a bust. Sales for me were terrible this year despite cutting my prices way down from the average selling price last year. As such, I have leftover ponies to sell.

I've got 2 Twilights, 2 Raritys, 2 Applejacks, 2 Daring Dos, 2 Pinkie Pies, 2 Fluttershys, 1 Rainbow Dash, and 1 Derpy. All of them are about 14" tall. Of the ponies that I have doubles, 1 is the standard expression and the other is an alternate expression (sultry/smug/embarrassed/determined).

I'm not really sure which is the best way to sell them. I'm not sure if I should put them on eBay, or if there's a bidding thread of sorts on DeviantArt? I'm hoping to sell these girls sooner rather than later because I've got some bills to pay.

If you'd be interested in one, send me a note. I should also have a group picture up pretty soon.

Edit: 14 Inch Rainbow Dash by Lykaios-Avery is currently up for auction on :iconebayplz: . Her auction can be found here. It'll end on Aug 25th at 6:59pm Pacific time (I've set her starting price at $325 so I don't have to fret about her selling for too little if she doesn't garner much attention and bids. However, it is cheaper than my usual asking price).

With only 4 days before GalaCon starts, I decided to start posting previews of the stuff that I'll be selling at the convention. Click on each image to read their full descriptions.

Now then, starting with the small stuff...

I'm attending GalaCon again this year. I'm located at mighty (table) no. 9.

I was lucky enough that I was able to be moved down to the ground floor, and very thankful. I was worried that people were going to browse through the ground floor vendor hall and miss the first floor, or only realize that there is another floor after they'd spent all their money on the first floor (which I find is pretty common at the Canadian conventions that I've attended). There are many more plushie vendors this year so I may need to lower my prices to compete, but I also don't want to sell too low to not make it worth the time it took to sew the plushies. I wouldn't be so worried about my work not selling if I were at a local convention, but I'm dragging 20 plushies (and other small things) from Canada to Germany to attend and the sales help cover my airfare back.

So, if any of my watchers are attending or know someone who is, come say 'hello' and help spread the word of my attendance, maybe? I'd really love to meet some of you.

Still fretting. And I leave for London in 5 days.
