Rise, my little ponies! We march at dawn! (Scary thing is, this isn't all of them. This is just the number of ponies that I could fit on the chair, or were complete enough to stand on their own. There's a filly Luna that I'm re-making that hasn't progressed this far yet, and some other's that were just cut).
Most of them don't have tails yet (the little Rainbow Dash on the far left is the only one that's complete). I'll be picking those up from my friend tomorrow (I bought her tickets to 3 different anime conventions last year, so we made a deal that she'd stuff ponies and mochi in exchange). Having all of these tail-less ponies really made me realize how much the tails work as a counter-weight/balance to the heads. The ponies often want to tip forward at the slightest nudge when they don't have tails (except Scootaloo, she's pretty well grounded due to her shape).
Twilight and Scootaloo actually have their manes and tails in a bag off-screen; I just haven't attached them yet. However, Twilight's horn seems to have joined half of her face and half of Daring's face in the club of pony-pieces-that-mysteriously-dissapeared-and-must-be-remade (I'll find them someday).
The Daring Dos will remaing naked until I get the money that I need to buy enough fabric to make their clothes (it's odd, the fund transfer was done on Tueday, but the money still hasn't shown up in my account yet).
3 of them are definitely trades, 3 of them are commissions, 1 might go to GalaCon with me if the original trader doesn't want her anymore, and 1 I might put up for sale online (if it's worth it, though I'm starting to doubt that she'd fetch much).
After I finish this batch, the majority of my focus will be on finishing 20 ponies for GalaCon in August, and 3 more that are commissions that I'll be hand delivering while in Europe. I'm not entirely sure if I can do it, but I'm going to try. My hopes are to have 2 of each of Octavia, Vinyl, Derpy, Daring and the main 6. What am I getting myself into... Wish me luck!
