Around the World for 60 Days by Lykaios-Avery Around the World for 60 Days by Lykaios-Avery
Mochi!Canada from Hetalia. Yes, he's sitting on top of a polar bear plush (fitting, no?).

I made this little guy so he could join the Plushies Around the World Project and collect flags from other DeviantArt members. You can read more about it here: [link]

I thought it appropriate to send my country's personification (though in mochi form) to visit other countries.

Sadly, no. Something came up close to when I was going to start sending him so for now he is still flag-less. Though I might try again this year.

Aw. Well I hope you can do it!

If I could sew I would have sent something to collect flags. It's a dream of mine to travel all around the world, so I would live vicariously through my plushie XD

You should browse the gallery of plushies made for the event, if you haven't already. Some of them are very simple designs and can be made by hand-sewing.

About $7-10 to the USA, unless you want it there really, really fast.

Very cute! I'm envious of the embroidery machine. Would you be willing to share the base pattern for your mochi plush.

What did you do exactly to sew on his face like that?

I designed it on the computer then plugged it into an embroidery machine and let the machine stitch it on. It's much neater than me trying to do it by hand (which I did on an America one 2 years ago). The rest of it (the body and hair curl) I sewed myself.

A Brother...something. An expensive one.

I always confuse the numbers and I can't currently go check. But it's a Brother machine, I know that for sure.
